Wim Drion is a Dutch painter and former professor of art at the Willem de Kooning Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam. He lives on Paros from April to November and organizes drawing and painting workshops.

Apothiki Art Center
A traditional building at the Venetian Castle area of Parikia, that has been renovated into a multi-functional space, that hosts contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events. Apothiki runs an Artists in Residence program and provides a working, living and exhibiting space.
