Throughout the islands of Paros and Antiparos, there are beaches and beach bars more frequented by families with children. Most of them also have municipal life guards for more safety. The ones quoted below are mainly sandy and most of them are quite shallow.
Antiparos Island:
Agios Spiridonas Beach, or 'Baby Beach' is the most known beach favoured by families, due to its shallow and clear waters with sandy bottom. This beach is long, it is easily access on foot and by car from the center of the village, it has plenty of trees for shade, some sun beds and a few beach restaurants.
Diapori Beach is about a 15-minute walk from the center of the village, and it also has warm, shallow water and sand. Shadow is not that easy to find here though, and you need to leave the car and take a 5min. walk to reach the shore.
Paros Island:
Souvlia Beach, located at a 5-minute drive from Parikia center, is a 'heaven' for the young ones and their parents who may enjoy their drinks and meals at Magaya Beach Bar-Restaurant while looking after their children on the beach.
Livadia Beach, the main beach of Parikia, has a volleyball court that can also be used for football, plenty of youngsters and a chill-out beach bar 'Aktea' at the end of the beach.
Santa Maria Beach, outside Naoussa, is also frequented by families with children. You may want to sit at the vibrant beach bar, but there are also quieter spots at both ends of the beach. There is also a surf school for potential young athletes.
Golden Beach on the East side of the island is also a place where children can run around and play safely, or even join the various sea activities offered there. Also, beach volley facilities. For the parents, there are plenty of beach bars and restaurants all along the beach.
Pisso Livadi central beach on the East side, may not be such an idyllic beach, but it is nice for a quick swim and a meal or drink by the sea, while kids have fun at the small playground on the sand. The sea-side street is also safe from the afternoon onwards, since no cars are allowed.
Aliki Beaches and the village itself - located on the south part, is a place favored by families. Small and quiet, with a playground at the center and with no cars at the main street from the afternoon and on, it makes it ideal for holidays with kids.

Among all restaurants of Paros, there are a few that stand out in children's tastes & kids menus.
Distrato Café in the Parikia old town - offers ideal meal & drinks portions for kids, like small-sized orange juice, small burger & spaghetti portion and more. Creative workshops for kids also take place at Distrato throughout the year.
Tao's Restaurant in the countryside between Naousa & Ambelas - has special kids menu and organizes orginal daycare activities for children.
Sula Luna Gelato at Parikia seafront- probably the best ice cream on the island. Traditional Italian gelato made in the healthiest possible way,non-fattening with fresh and/or local ingredients. Cheerful service and special kids cups.
